Deciding its pointless being on an island an not enjoying any sun and beach i decided to go back to ipoh. first impressions a few days ago was of a noisy traffic clogged city,and still have that impression too. Finding cheap accomodation was hard,cheap was nasty and kinda brothel like so had to stretch my budget to 60 rinnigts,double my usual for a bed.Anyway found the New caspian hotel,recomended in lonely planet,still not worth the money.
So did a walking tour of Ipoh that day,checked out what i wanted to see and took in some temples situated in the limestone caves and that was that.. not sure if spending a night here justified what i saw.
